Ceremonial anniversary: ​​40 years of fire service gaming in gaming!

on Saturday, June 8, 2025, the sky over gaming did not beam in full splendor, but there was still a festive reason to go to the fire brigade houses. The Gaming volunteer fire brigade celebrated the 40th anniversary of its fire brigade youth with a great district youth camp, in which a total of 197 young fire brigade members and 30 supervisors: inside from the entire Scheibbs district took part. However, the rainy change in weather did not protect the participants from celebrating their camaraderie and team spirit. "Once a year we come together to promote the young fire brigade and to be successful together", as the organizer's invitation sheet, Fireworld.

The celebrations that took place on the outdoor pool meadow framed numerous competitions in which the participants measured themselves in different disciplines. The award ceremony had to be moved to the fire station due to the weather, but this did not detract from the mood. A very special moment of the day was the honor of HLM Karl Wurzenberger, who was honored for his long -term merit.

There was also a special group assessment for the girls, which was also brilliantly designed. They took the bronze places for FF Randegg and in silver the FF Randegg, which also delivered convincing services. The organizers are particularly proud of the committed cooperation of the supervisors: inside, who not only ensured excellent meals with schnitzel from the team of the fire brigade board, but also actively helped with the organization.

In times when the number of members stagnate or even declined in many youth work, the fire brigade youth Gaming shows how important it is to promote offspring. A look at the youth fire brigade in Austria, with around 26,000 members, illustrates the relevance of such events. They not only have an important social function, but also form a valuable basis for preparing young people for active service in the fire brigade. The festivity in Gaming was an impressive example of how the enthusiasm for fire service can be passed on through commitment and community.
