VfR Hangelar celebrates impressive relegation with 6-0 victory!

The joy among the supporters of VfR Hangelar was great when the team secured early relegation in the district league last weekend with an impressive 6-0 win against SV. With this clear success, the team took a big step out of the relegation zone and can now look into the rest of the season. In a gripping game, Clemens Heinen scored the first goal in the 18th minute, followed by other hits from Lars Radzey, who scored in the 30th minute, and Heinen himself, who struck in the 40th and 45th+1 minute

In the first half, the result was increased to 6-0 by Vladyslav Cheltsov (45.+7) and later by Yanic Mauer, who contributed the last goal in the 83rd minute. Chief coach Sascha Strack, who could only follow the game due to his return trip from Seville in the live stream, could hardly believe what he saw. The team secured at least the 12th place in the table, three points above the first relegation zone, and can now go into the last games with new confidence.

In order to tackle the problems, such as the negative membership development and the need for a forward-looking analysis, the DFB-Akademie to develop innovative club concepts. The integration of all members and openness to new ideas plays a central role. The strengthening of the identification of members with the association could be a decisive strategy to make VfR Hangelar sustainable.

Additional activities for all ages that not only promote competitive sports, but also health and community, are crucial. Football clubs have to diversify their offers to attract more people and enable social activities. So VfR Hangelar could win more members again through targeted measures and strengthen its position in local sport.

In the league, there is already an exciting season in which VfR Hangelar can now assert its place without major concerns. With fresh wind and a clear plan for the future, the club will probably not only strive for greater sporting success not only in the district league, but also beyond.
