This year, the participants and spectators remember Kurt Gluding, an important citizen of Neunkirchen, who has not only entered history as honorary president of VfB Borussia Neunkirchen, but also as a long -time chairman of the Saarland Football Association. Gluding, who lived from 1921 to 1993, was particularly committed to promoting young talent in sports and wanted to help children and adolescents develop important life skills, as the city of Neunkirchen says. Borussia Neunkirchen reports of an exciting day for everyone involved. While the competitions are in the foreground, the association also shows its social commitment: the Borussen youth has launched a one-off campaign in supermarkets to help older and handicapped people. In further news from the Borussen youth, there is a change in the management. For health reasons, Michael Rabeben resigned as a youth board. Under his leadership, 180 young people actively participated in the sport in the Borussen youth. Michael Reiser was elected as the new board of the youth department. The juniors are well looked after with a total of 13 volunteers and certified instructors who ensure that all age groups are occupied by G to A-youth. A-, B and C juniors will play in the Landesliga in the coming season. The commitment of Borussia for youth football remains strong.
