100 years of Musikverein Bargau: a pageant full of surprises!
Himmelreichstraße 14/1, 73529 Schwäbisch Gmünd, Deutschland - The Musikverein Bargau celebrated its 100th anniversary last weekend with a varied festival, which was prepared with a lot of commitment by the members and the community. From May 29 to 31, 2025, the celebrations on the festival meadow next to the Fein Halle in Schwäbisch Gmünd took place. Another highlight was the invasion of flags into the tent, which was led by Eugen Krieger, who was departed as a flag carrier after 43 years.
The logistical planning in the background also played an important role. Over 700 services were filled for both the event as well as for food and beverage supply so that the celebration became a complete success. Smaller attractions such as a candy bar and a balloon station for the little guests were also offered.
The Musikverein Bargau could not only celebrate its tradition with this jubilee, but also inspire new generations for brass music. The next highlight for the fans could be the big appearance of Seiler and Speer, which will take place on May 30, 2025.
