Kosovo, under the direction of Franco Foda and Robert Ibertsberger, will start the decisive games in September this year to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The team meets well -known opponents such as Switzerland, Spain and Slovenia.

Kosovo, who recently applied Foda in Nations League B, will play his first game against Switzerland on September 5, 2025. This is followed by the duel against Sweden on September 8, followed by other important encounters in Group B, where the three teams remain. The Situation in Romania

The strong focus is also on Romania, which were 3-0 in the first game against Kosovo in Pristina. A second leg in Bucharest unfortunately had to be canceled due to unsportsmanlike behavior, which confirmed the result in the league. If you look at the Romanian squad, you can see that there are some top-class players with players like Nicolae Stanciu from Saudi Arabia and the series A-Kicker Dennis Man and Razvan Marin. Foda describes Romania as a ball -proof team that primarily attacks the wings. An additional problem is the injured Radu Dragusin, whose cruciate ligament rupture throws him out of the race, while Kevin Danso has moved to London.

Another interesting returnee is Vlad Chiriches, who is part of the national team again after three years of absence. Foda has clearly communicated that he sees Austria as a “top team” with more quality than Romania, which only increases the anticipation for the two coming games against this team.
