Special train to Baden Pride: Celebrate inclusion with Pandora NOx!

Baden, Österreich - On June 7, 2025, the third edition of the Baden Pride will take place in the spa town of Baden, which not only sets a sign of acceptance and visibility, but is also dedicated to celebration of diversity. Organized by the Viennese local railways, a specially decorated special train of the Badner Bahn is sent on the trip. Over 1,000 participants of the LGBTQIA+community and their supporters are expected to break from Vienna Karlsplatz, the special track in front of the Otto Wagner Pavilion, at 10:30 a.m. for this colorful event.

A highlight of the event will be the Drag Race winner Pandora NOx, who will create a mood for a star guest. The special train will not only act as a means of transport, but also create an atmosphere of the community and inclusion, accompanied by music and colorful decorations. Each participant receives a goodie bag that increases the anticipation for the celebrations and embodies the spirit of tolerance and individual expression.

The Baden Pride program is diverse: in addition to the parade, visitors can expect musical performances, speeches and a varied supporting program that focuses on the messages of human rights and acceptance. The Baden Pride 2025 will thus become part of the extensive Pride season in Austria, which includes 13 different events in various cities from May to October. As can be read on GGG, Austria's cities are transformed into colorful locations for equality, visibility and against discrimination.

This special day in Baden is not isolated, but is part of a large social trend that reflects the growing strength of the LGBTI movement in Austria. Events such as the Baden Pride are reminiscent of the first uprising of homosexuals and trans people more than 50 years ago in New York and show that the struggle for the rights of the community is also socially popular beyond Vienna.
