New funding program: Relief for families in Baden at after -school care costs!

In Baden there are gratifying news for families with more modest financial resources. The municipal council committee for education and culture recently decided to develop a new funding guideline in order to relieve the after -school costs for less families. This measure was approved on June 24th at the municipal council meeting, as reported. The aim of this initiative is to support parents who have become financial difficulties despite employment.

The idea behind this funding was attributed to an appeal from the homeland of the Horror on the parish square. The city was informed about the challenges that many families have in the after -school care costs. The educational committee took on this considerations, which ultimately led to an urgency application for the Greens. It was particularly emphasized that the existing state funding is often not sufficient, especially since it ends with a comparatively low level of income.

Details for the new funding

The new funding guideline is aimed at families who have their main residence in Baden and whose children visit a elementary school in the urban area. What conditions must be fulfilled? The funding is particularly useful when both parents are employed. A crucial criterion is the proven family net income that is taken into account socially staggered.

  • The funding refers to the care hours actually used.
  • A distinction is made between single parents and two-parents households.
  • The support only applies if no other grants are used.

The city takes over the processing of the funding process through the educational department, which also offers advice. The advisory times are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Contact by phone at 02252/86 800-510 or by email at education@baden.gv.at. If the application is applied, various documents, such as confirmations of the care facilities and proof of income, are necessary.

protection and promotion of disadvantaged families

These new efforts are part of a larger framework to support disadvantaged families. In addition to municipal funding, the Federal Ministry of Education, as part of the “Parents' Opportunities” program, is ensured that families in difficult life situations are specifically promoted. The program, which runs by 2028, focuses on the development of resources for the education and well-being of children from low-income households and from families with migration or escape background, such as esf.de shown.

The measures underline the need for a stronger integration of family -promoting offers in order to support the development of children at an early stage. The initiatives aim to facilitate access to education and opportunities for gleing, also for those who are often left behind due to social or economic barriers.

It also becomes clear how important it is that we, as a society, treat all children equally and that nobody is disadvantaged, as livingquartter.de. Access to education is a fundamental right that should be targeted in order to offer so -called disadvantaged young people a fair opportunity in life.

The current measures in Baden are a step in the right direction. Parents in difficult financial situations can hope for support, and that is worth more than ever in these challenging times.
