Drama in Ebreichsdorf: traffic accident, chemical alarm and garage fire!
On May 30, 2025, the members of the Ebreichsdorf volunteer fire brigade had an eventful day on which they had to master three missions. A serious traffic accident on the B210 was particularly outstanding, which resulted in an enabled alarm in the emergency services.
The accident occurred in the intersection to the Ebreichsdorf West (A3) motorway exit when a car driver overlooked an oncoming vehicle when turning the highway. Both vehicles suffered considerable damage and the situation required quick action. The paramedics of the Samaritan Association Ebreichsdorf meanwhile provided first aid and took care of the two drivers, who were luckily only slightly injured. While one of the drivers was taken to a hospital, the second driver rejected a ride in the ambulance. In order to ensure the safety of road users, the fire brigade blocked the B210 for about 15 minutes and carried out the rescue of the vehicles with a crane before cleaning the road.

The second use of the day would have ended almost dramatically: in Ebreichsdorf the fire brigade was alerted with human rescue due to a chemical accident. An employee of a specialist company who was busy with pool cleaning work had mixed chlorine and hydrochloric acid, which led to health complaints. Fortunately, the man was able to save himself from the empty pool. The fire brigade undertook immediate measures, checked the situation and was soon able to give the all -clear before returning to the previous use.
The day was rounded off by a garage fire in Landegg. Respiratory protection teams were used here, which were equipped with a breathing air container to quickly control the fire. The professional work of all emergency services quickly brought relief and further dangers could be averted.
