On Saturday, May 31, 2025, an accident occurred on an mountain tour on the Großer Almkogel, which was fatal to a 53-year-old hiker from the Amstetten district. While she was the hiking route in the municipal area of ​​Großraming together with her husband, the accident passed around 12 o'clock at noon. The descent on hiking trail 492, which leads to the Ennserhütte, took a dramatic turn when the woman fell at an altitude of 1,350 meters and broke his right wrist.

The hiking couple was competent after the fall by reaching the Ennershütte and alerting the mountain rescue there. The volunteer rescue workers of the Steyr/Losenstein mountain rescue company were quickly on hand and provided the injured on site before transporting them to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Clinic Steyr for outpatient treatment.
