Held of the community: Haselsteiner awarded with a fire brigade medal!
In a warm event in Amstetten, Herbert Haselsteiner, the managing director of the Rotkreuz district office, was honored for his special services. The second-class merit medal in silver from the Lower Austrian State Fire Brigade Association was awarded to him as part of a security jour fixe, a sign of recognition for his extensive support for the fire brigade.
At the honor, Section Fire Brigade Commander Stefan Schaub praised Haselsteiner's commitment in joint operational exercises, advanced training and courses. "This medal is not only a thank you, but also a sign of respect for his long -term cooperation with the fire brigade," said Schaub. Such awards are an essential part of culture in the Austrian fire brigade and have a long tradition.
The meaning of the awards
Awards in the fire service are of great importance in Austria and go back to the second half of the 19th century. The Federal Fire Brigade Association gives various medals, crosses and awards. There are different categories here- from honors for long-term memberships in volunteer or company fire brigades to special awards for merits around the Republic of Austria. These honors are recognition of the dedication and the commitment of many volunteers.
The fire brigade in Austria is characterized by a high level of participation of volunteers, which underlines the importance of these awards. The Lower Austrian State Fire Brigade Association also awards such medals at the district and community level- whereby the medal of merit, which Haselsteiner has received, is recognition of special services and commitment.
a model for the community
If you are committed to the concerns of the Red Cross and the fire brigade, this often does so in the background, without much fuss. Medical training and the numerous training courses that Herbert Haselsteiner organized testify to its significant influence. Such merits remain not undetected in the community and show how important the cooperation between the various rescue organizations is.
In view of the challenges that the emergency services have to master every day, it is all the more important to appreciate such acts and to keep them in mind. The award of Haselsteiner is not only a personal honor, but also an incentive for others in the region to also campaign for the community and to serve the general public.Herbert Haselsteiner is an excellent example of how to enrich life in the community through commitment and dedication. It is to be hoped that his achievements will have an inspiring effect within and outside of the fire service.
