Amstetten, Österreich - An exciting football weekend took place on the Ascension Day in Amstetten when the 33rd Aquavital tournament in the Ertl glass arena took place. In changeable weather, which offered both sunshine and rain shower, numerous young talents competed against each other. This year there were 20 U11 teams, including 12 Bundesliga clubs, and an international team from Romania who fulfilled the stands with life.

Among the participating teams were names such as FC Red Bull Salzburg Süd, First Vienna FC 1894 and the Graz AK 1902, all of which aimed at exciting games and gripping duels. After hard -fought encounters, even in some cases the penalty shootout had to decide what also captivated the audience.

Austria Vienna triumphed

In the grand finale, Austria Vienna prevailed 2-0 against the FAC and was able to celebrate the tournament victory. The team once again wrote history in this popular young tournament. In the other places, the Sku Ertl Glas Amstetten landed in the 4th place and the LAZ Mostviertel, the defending champion, had to be content with 11th place this year. In addition, the second team of the LAZ Mostviertel was able to reach 8th place.
