Insolvency for traditional costumes: miscalculation threatens 21 jobs!

In Wolfsberg there is great news about the fashion business "Traditional Kaiser - Mode". The Alpine Officer Association (AKV) has on 3. June 2025 an insolvency proceedings on the assets of the owner Margit Leaseu open. The procedure carried out at the Klagenfurt regional court is a renovation procedure without self -administration. The debtor has already submitted a renovation plan that provides for a repayment of 20 percent within 24 months.

The bankruptcy is caused by several factors. In addition to ** miscalculations **, the ** loss of a second business ** and ** lower sales proceeds ** are also the ** aftermath of the Corona period ** that have heavily burdened the company. The balance sheet liabilities amount to about 460,000 euros , while the assets, especially the warehouse, are only worth around 250,000 euros . In total, ** 21 creditors ** and ** 5 employees ** are affected by bankruptcy.

further steps

To bring the situation into the solder, the debtor plans to continue the company. The deadline for registration of the creditors' claims ends on ** 30. June 2025 **. The insolvency administrator Christian Thon, an experienced lawyer from Wolfsberg, will accompany the further steps. The first creditor meeting and the examination statute are for ** 14. July 2025 **, while the renovation plan day statute on ** 4. August 2025 ** will take place, as the Ey shows that companies have been continuously confronted with crises since 2020. The uncertainties in relation to inflation development, potentially increasing energy prices and the geopolitical situation could mean that many companies, including smaller companies such as “Traditional Kaiser - Fashion”, no longer have sufficient reserves.

With a good hand and a solid renovation plan, however, a ray of hope could appear on the horizon. The attractive consumption and the stabilization of energy and material prices could help improve the economic situation of many companies. Whether this is also the case for "traditional kaiser - fashion" will be shown in the coming months.
