Tennis club Bleiburg starts with record teams and new floodlights!
Bleiburg, Österreich - The Bleiburg tennis club drives a successful season and can look forward to numerous news. A real upswing is not only in the sporting area, but also in the infrastructure. The association currently has 200 members, which is a new high. At the start of the new season, 20 teams will start. My district reports on a balanced season start with four wins, two draws and five defeats.
A highlight of the association is the annual training camp that took place this year in Poreč. Here 100 participants could be recorded, which is a new record. But not only the sporting success speak for themselves, a lot is happening: the conversion is currently underway, which includes a spectator stand and a tournament -friendly floodlight system. In addition, a photovoltaic system is installed to rely on sustainable energy change, as can be read on tennisplatz.info.
news and plans
The tennis courts 1-5 were prepared for the season in April, and from April 19th they were available again-depending on the weather. The canteen probably opened its gates on April 22. Places 3 and 4 were also equipped with the latest LED floodlight technology, while further floodlight masts and the spectator stands are built in the course of spring. This is an important step to promote game operations in the evening and in the transition period. With an additional social media team, the Bleiburg tennis court is even looking for ways to further increase the visibility of the association and the development of members.
The membership fees should be paid in order to continue to participate in club life. The infrastructure measures will be crucial to meet the needs of members. Also in a comprehensive tennis report from [Sportplatzwelt] (https://www.sportplatzwelt.de/news/85119/Tennisreport-2024-gliederent- und-infrastructure) it becomes clear that investments in the tennis systems are becoming increasingly important. On average, tennis clubs invested around 80,300 euros in their hobby horses in 2023, whereas smaller clubs such as Bleiburg with fewer than 200 members had even better progress in digitization.
tournaments and events
There are some exciting events for the next few months. The fifth Kat 1 tournament, also known as the "Grenz Slam", is scheduled for mid-August and will attract top 20 players from Austria. Previously, a JUX tournament will take place on June 1st, which is a great opportunity for members and tennis fans to work and come together in a sporty manner.
With all these developments, the Bleiburg tennis club is well equipped in order to further gain in importance this season. Whether in sporting competition or in infrastructural development - the association has a good hand to master the challenges and further promote the joy of tennis.
