On September 5th, the 16th Wine and More took place in the picturesque Bürgerlustpark in Völkermarkt, a festival that combines wine culture and culinary delights at the highest level. Among the 15 winemakers who presented their fine wines that day were local stars such as Vino Hren, Weinhof vlg. Ritter, Vinum Virunum winery and Waltl winery from the Völkermarkt district are represented. The offering from the Tschaitschmann organic farm, which offered a delicious version of organic Lebekäs, was particularly tasty. The popular restaurant “Zum Julian” was also there and served freshly brewed coffee. Guests were also able to try something for the palate at MTC Markus Tomasin Cooking - from surf and turf to patatschinken and sweet desserts. The Rotary Club Völkermarkt provided hearty enjoyment with fine venison goulash and regional organic wine.

Music and entertainment for all senses

The supporting program was musically designed by various artists. The sounds of Vulfo Knopf, the Meschnark brothers, the duo Volxpower and the Haimburg music association created an atmospheric atmosphere. The event proved once again that Völkermarkt has a lot to offer not only culinary but also culturally.

While wine lovers got their money's worth in Völkermarkt, there are also busy celebrations in the other wine regions of Austria. The ticket prices are 40 euros and apply to all events on the day of the event. Another highlight will be the TOUR DE VIN on November 13th in Vienna, which will stop at Markterei Markthalle 1090.
