In the Villach animal shelter there is currently a small but fine selection of animal companions who are waiting to find a loving home. In addition to the direct mediating animals, there are also some found animals in the shelter that hope for the return of their owners. On May 16, 2025, a female cat was picked up near the bank in Villach, followed by a male mixed breed that was found on May 24, 2025 in Landskron, near the soccer field.
