Villach, Österreich - What about the companies in Carinthia? The answer to this could not be more positive. According to the Carinthian company settlement and investment company M.B.H. (Babeg) in 2024 a total of 32 national and international companies were supported in their decision for Carinthia. That really makes you want more!

It is particularly gratifying that 17 of these new settlements took place in close cooperation with the Austrian Business Agency (ABA). Together they made a significant contribution to economic dynamics in the region. Throughout 2024, the BABEG looked after a total of 246 projects, including 80 new projects, and thus showed a good hand when setting up innovative companies.

These have selected Carinthia, among other things, because of the availability of qualified specialists and plan to further expand their location in Villach.

Projects such as the Lakeside Park and the High Tech Campus Villach are clear examples. In addition, the event "Carinthia Innovates" will take place on November 11, 2025, in which national and international companies are to be networked with the Carinthian research and technology providers- a great opportunity to develop new synergies!
