Caverion Austria has just taken a significant step in Carinthia: The company has taken over Lepuschitz Kühltechnik GmbH, which is based in Wernberg. The takeover has the clear aim of sustainably strengthening Caverion's market position in the region and expanding the services offered. Caverion is already an established provider of technical building equipment with over 1,100 employees and 18 locations in Austria. MyDistrict reports that the new location in Wernberg achieves annual sales of around 4.2 million euros.
Lepuschitz Kühltechnik GmbH, which was founded in the 1970s, employs 18 people and was owned by Equans Kühltechnik GmbH until it was taken over. The company specializes in supermarket refrigeration and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. This includes the planning and installation of new systems as well as the optimization and maintenance of existing systems. A special highlight is the 24/7 emergency service, which is available for all of Carinthia and East Tyrol.

Through this acquisition, Caverion Austria hopes to not only increase its own competitiveness in the cooling system segment, but also to benefit from Lepuschitz Kühltechnik's long-standing partnerships with international refrigeration system manufacturers. Customers such as REWE, Lidl and M-Preis will continue to receive optimal support. Caverion emphasizes that through the takeover, both regional and international customers in the hospitality industry and public clients will benefit from an expanded range of services.
Caverion's many years of experience in the areas of air conditioning, refrigeration technology and heat pumps will help to optimize and further expand services in Carinthia. TGA emphasizes that the strategic takeover will create expertise in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning technology, which is essential for the future development of the company.
