On Thursday, a traffic accident caused excitement, in which a 66-year-old driver from the Klagenfurt-Land district was injured. For unknown cause, the man came onto the oncoming lane, which led to his vehicle coming off the street and touched both a guiding rail and a guide block. He had to be brought to the Klagenfurt Clinic with the rescue.
But this was not the only incident this week on the busy street. On Saturday afternoon there was a second serious accident, in which a 49-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured. An 81-year-old driver from Klagenfurt wanted to turn to the parking lot of an inn when the motorcyclist crashed into the side against the rear of the car. The force of the impact hurled the motorcyclist several meters through the air, landing on the opposite lane.

The injured motorcyclist was immediately brought to the Klagenfurt accident hospital after the first aid by the emergency services. The driver's passenger, on the other hand, remained intact.
