Klagenfurt celebrates: 3 days of street food & commemorative act for the referendum!

There will be a lot on offer in Carinthia in the coming days! On October 10th it's that time again: the day of the Carinthian referendum will be celebrated in the land of lakes and mountains. Preparations for the memorial event on Monday, October 10th are in full swing. On October 6, 2025, the motto is: “How time flies,” and that will be celebrated accordingly.

It starts on Saturday, October 6th, at 9:30 a.m. at the Annabichl Cemetery, where the celebrations begin with a moving act of remembrance. At 11:00 a.m., a festive event awaits visitors in the country house courtyard that underlines the importance of this historic day. Street Food & Wine Festival in Klagenfurt

But that's not all! As part of the celebrations, the Streetfood & Wine Festival will take place in Klagenfurt from October 10th, inviting the city to feast for three days. Neuer Platz will become a hotspot for all lovers of international cuisine. More than 20 trucks and trailers present a colorful range of dishes. From Creole to Thai cuisine, from Filipino delicacies to Iberian desserts and Amsterdam specialties - there is something for every taste!
