Burglars steal a high sum from Warkener business - police are looking for witnesses!

In the municipality of Winklern in the Spittal/Drau district, an alarm started in the morning, which kept the police off. Two unknown perpetrators used the early morning hours to break into a shopping market. Like Klick Carinthia , the burglars hit a window pane and came to the offices of the market.

The criminals not only had a short look for the goods, but a very specific goal: a safe. According to the Kleine Zeitung they were able to capture several ten thousand euros before they put on the window. Witnesses reported that they were able to briefly watch the two strangers while fleeing before their traces disappeared into nothing.

The police did not be stopped long and immediately initiated a comprehensive search. Several stripes and service dog relays were in use. This search extended to the national border to East Tyrol, but without success. So far there is no trace of the perpetrators.

The investigators ask the population for help. "If someone has information about the crime or fleeing of the perpetrators, this references to the next police station are extremely welcome," emphasizes the police.
