When a property manager noticed that a new washing machine should be delivered in a certain place, but it had remained empty, the case got rolling. This was the trigger to question the inaccurate bills and the associated irregularities. "Heimat" boss Helmut Kusterik regrets the confidence in the Villacher: "We trusted him for 40 years, and that was a mistake," he explains. The billing of the invoices apparently took place without a thorough examination.
