At the Pentecost weekend, the performance center of the Carinthian Sports Kegler Association in Klagenfurt was the scene of the ASSKÖ Federal Championships in sports bowling. Under the direction of Dipl.Ing. Christian Matitz competed in the country's best sports bowlers to demonstrate their skills and to fight medals. In particular, the men's team of the Carinthian Association was able to shine with a solid performance in the first and secured the bronze medal. The team, consisting of Roman Leitner, Werner Rössler, Daniel Waldhauser from the KSK Klagenfurt-Magdalensberg and Hugo Sussitz from the BSG Kärntner state government, proved that persistence and team spirit lead to success. The last medal for Carinthia was in 2017, all the more the region is happy about this success.

The women's teams also showed their skills, but had to be satisfied with eighth place. Paula Pichler, Marijana Zaplotnik (BSG Carinthian State Government), Helga Frank and Barbara Wakonig (SPG ÖGKK/DAKC) fought hard, but could not penetrate the medal ranks.

in the tandem mixed competition, Carinthia competed with two couples. Beate Puschmann and Rupert Bicking from the BSG Kärntner state government unfortunately eliminated in the first round.
