Carinthia shines at the ASSKÖ federal championships in sports bowling!
At the Pentecost weekend, the performance center of the Carinthian Sports Kegler Association in Klagenfurt was the scene of the ASSKÖ Federal Championships in sports bowling. Under the direction of Dipl.Ing. Christian Matitz competed in the country's best sports bowlers to demonstrate their skills and to fight medals. In particular, the men's team of the Carinthian Association was able to shine with a solid performance in the first and secured the bronze medal. The team, consisting of Roman Leitner, Werner Rössler, Daniel Waldhauser from the KSK Klagenfurt-Magdalensberg and Hugo Sussitz from the BSG Kärntner state government, proved that persistence and team spirit lead to success. The last medal for Carinthia was in 2017, all the more the region is happy about this success.

in the tandem mixed competition, Carinthia competed with two couples. Beate Puschmann and Rupert Bicking from the BSG Kärntner state government unfortunately eliminated in the first round. The ASKÖ Federal Championships also offered exciting competitions in the 2024 broadcast year. Roman Leitner won the silver medal in the general class of men with 610 cones and thus demonstrated his extraordinary class again. Gold went to Claudiu Boanta, while Markus Baumgartner secured the bronze medal. This shows that Carinthia is represented in the top field both in the men's and women's category. Askö Kärnten emphasizes that outstanding results were also achieved in the senior categories, which speaks for the wide range and the offspring.
