In a few days, Klagenfurt is again transformed into the scene for one of the most challenging triathlons: the Ironman Austria Carinthia, which takes place on June 15, 2025. The access to the Maiernigg lido is also affected by temporary regulations: a one -way regulation towards the Lideau of Maiernigg will be in force from 6.30 a.m. to around 3:30 p.m.
In Krumpendorf, further road closures are to be expected. Here between 11.30 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. several streets such as the beach path and Berthastraße are closed here. Drivers are advised to bypass the event location in a large scale or to use the crossing options set up to avoid unnecessary waiting times.

In addition to the hauver event, the Company Triathlon Challenge will take place on June 12th. Here teams compete over distances of 380 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 4.2 km running. During this event, which serves to get in the mood for the great Ironman, roadblocks are planned: from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. the B70D (Harbacherstraße) and the L96 Süduferstrasse are affected. A bypass via L97 Keutschacher Strasse is also recommended here.
