The waiting has come to an end! From June 6th to June 8th, 2025, the city center of Hermagor will again become the scene of the popular Gailtaler bacon festival, which is already in the 31st round this year. As the Gailtal Journal , up to 30,000 visitors are expected to look forward to a colorful program. Admission is free and the scent of the hearty Gailtaler bacon will pull through the streets.
The official opening will take place on June 7th at 10 a.m. with a traditional bacon cut. At the promenade under the motto "Löwe meets Gailtaler Speck", visitors can: stroll through the stands inside and enjoy varied dishes.
