Fire brigade sensation in Hermagor: District champions are certain!

In the picturesque community of Rattendorf, a spectacular event took place on May 24, 2025: the district performance competitions of the fire brigades of the Hermagor district. The local fire brigade groups presented their skills and cohesion in exciting competitions. The winners who secured the title "District Champion" with remarkable services can be particularly proud. Four district champions can look forward to the triumph. In the Bronze A category, the 5th group of the Feuerwehr Tratten from the municipality of St. Stefan in the Gailtal prevailed, while the 4th group of the Köstendorf fire brigade took first place in the Bronze B category. Particularly noteworthy is the 4th group of the Kühweg fire brigade, which the silver A-category was able to win. The Waidegg fire brigade, on the other hand, took home the victory in the team performance competition after their group was drawn. With their excellent performance, all four winning groups secured the qualification for the state championships on June 28, 2025 in the meeting, Villach-Land.
