A serious traffic accident occurred on the morning of August 23, 2025 on the B11 when a 24-year-old man from the Hermagor district suffered a medical emergency while driving. This is reported by the local media, including East Tyrol Online and 5 minutes.
At around 9:55 a.m. the man was on the way to Villach when he lost control of his car not far from St. Stefan im Gailtal. The vehicle left the road and hit the L27 below before finally coming to a stop on the eastern footpath.
