Startup Burgenland 2025: Six innovative young entrepreneurs presented!
On June 7, 2025,in Güssing presented innovative start-ups their skills as part of the fifth run of the startup Burgenland Accelerator. This event, in which the Economic State Councilor Leonhard Schneemann and Michael Gerbavsits from the Burgenland Business Agency took part, focused on future -oriented business models and technological innovations. It should be noted that Burgenland has developed into a hotspot for start -ups in recent years.
The FTI strategy Burgenland 2030, which intends extensive support for creative founding teams, forms the scope of this development. The aim is to promote future -proof business models and to establish closer links with innovative projects. "We see the effects of our targeted promotion of innovation," says Schneemann, who emphasized the dynamic relationship between the start-ups and supportive institutions.

This year six new participants were presented to the accelerator. A look at the exemplary start-ups shows the diversity and the innovation spirit:
- balm: A AI software that helps SME to reduce office work by automating up to 70 % of the routine processes.
- Beresilient: produces premium garden fertilizer from coffee grounds and thus supports the circular economy.
- Mindset Technologies: develops software for monitoring the eye movements of pilots and thus improves pilot training.
- Terra Green: offers planters made of beer stirred to promote CO2-neutral horticultural practices.
- Voltalux: an online portal that has conveyed over 1,300 project inquiries from customers to PV specialist companies since October 2024.
- yooy: A design app that enables users to design individual glasses frames from over 30 colors and materials.
