Rust, Deutschland - Today, on May 29, 2025, the Europa-Park in Rust, Germany's largest amusement park, opened a new themed world: Silver Lake City. This impressive expansion costs more than 70 million euros and extends over an area of around ten hectares. Every year the park attracts around six million visitors, and the new attraction is particularly aimed at overnight guests.
36 Western Houses and 68 Caravan parking spaces were created in the Silver Lake City. The Western Houses offer space for four to six people and are arranged for a generous 650 square meter mini golf course. The overnight stay in the western town begins at around 300 euros per night for a family of four, which corresponds to the attractiveness of the new area.
an authentic wild west experience
The Europa-Park has created an authentic adventure area in the style of the Wild West with the Silver Lake City. Originally started as a small tipid village, the area has now been extensively expanded. In addition to the accommodations, there will be a Wild West-Restaurant with space for 475 people, a Wild Horse-Bar for 120 guests and an adventure playground with a steam locomotive.
Special events such as campfire evenings, live music and lasso shows are planned on weekends to deepen the experience for visitors. The highlight of future developments will be the Hotel Riverside Western Lodge, which will open next year and will include 120 rooms and its own brewery. This brewery will produce 30,000 liters of Europa Park beer annually.

The Silver Lake City is not only designed for leisure activities. From 2026, the area will offer space for 2,000 guests and a children's house called "Little Helden" will also be created in cooperation with the "Foundation RTL - we help children e.V." to offer children in need of help.
