SV Oberwart triumphs 5-0 – third win in a row!

In an impressive performance, SV Oberwart won its away game against TWL Elektra 5-0 on August 24, 2025. Coach Gernot Plassnegger's team showed from the start that they wanted to take control of the game. Christoph Halper took the early lead in the second minute after a precise cross from Tim Ratkowski.

Oberwart had numerous chances in the first half, but they went unused. Taner Sen from Elektra was unable to capitalize on his team's best opportunity and the guests went into the locker room with a half-time score of 0-1. But what followed shows the Oberwart team's dominance. After the break, Lukas Ried made it 0-2 in the 54th minute, followed by Nicolas Wisak, who increased the score to 0-3 in the 56th minute.

Landmark victory and place in the table

The scorers didn't let up: Jura Stimac increased the score to 0:4 in the 68th minute, and in the 86th minute Nermin Bajraktarevic put the icing on the cake with his header to make it 0:5. With this victory, Oberwart is already celebrating its third success in a row and has climbed to second place in the Regionalliga East. Section leader Michael Benedek was very satisfied with the improvement in performance of his team and the results they were able to achieve.

In the coming game it is important to continue this upward trend. On August 29th at 7:30 p.m. SV Oberwart has a real top game against Marchfeld Donauauen in the Informstadion. Another highlight that fans can already look forward to.
