Rosarotes festival in Jois: Rain does not stop wine lovers!

Neusiedl am See, Österreich - On the last Saturday of Pentecost, a very special event took place in the picturesque Jois: The Agerlhof winery invited to the roséwein tasting. Despite the changeable weather, which came up with some rain, numerous wine lovers, including guests from the Zillertal and Eisenstadt, flocked to try the different rosés. Ten different types were offered and made the hearts of the wine connoisseurs beat faster.

The family of the Agerlhof winery was busy at work to ensure the tasting of the guests. In order to make the ambience even more festive, visitors were encouraged to appear in pink outfits. Many complied with this request, so that a touch of color dominated the inner courtyard of the winery.

The wine queen attracts every look

A highlight of the event was the presence of Hannah Wetschka, the current wine queen in Austria. Wetschka, who has successfully completed her training at the Klosterneuburg wine school and has completed an exciting stay in America, led the guests through the wine selection. Her alternating stories and well -founded knowledge ensured an informative and entertaining afternoon.

The wine queen reports on her experiences in parental wine operations and describes her role as comprehensive and exhausting, but also as a wonderful opportunity to be active in the wine world. "I am interested in a moderator role for the future," she reveals, giving a little outlook on her plans beyond the wine cultivation.

regional specialties and cultural diversity

In the middle of the solemn hustle and bustle, the Seewinkler Party Service from Frauenkirchen provided regional delicacies and rounded off the experience culinary. The combination of high -quality wine and fine "delicacies" made the day a real treat.

But Jois and his surroundings not only offer excellent wine. The municipality of Kittsee, which is not far away, is an example of rural tranquility paired with cultural diversity. Here tradition meets modern influences, which makes the region particularly worth living and is also very well received by visitors.

For wine lovers and pleasure fans, visiting such events in Burgenland is an absolute must. Interested parties can also read about the options for wine tasting on the Kugler Wein website: Kugler Wein.
