A lot has happened in the small community of Henndorf: The Jennersdorf city fire department and the Henndorf local fire department are investing heavily in the future of their infrastructure. A significant step in this direction has just been taken - the expansion of the fire station in Henndorf has been completed. The new area not only provides much-needed space for vehicles, but also includes a storage room. A total of around 150,000 euros was invested in the extension. The planned extension covers a total area of around 150 square meters and will house a pallet rack warehouse and several swap bodies. The aim of these measures is to improve the spatial structure and optimize processes during large-scale operations. The ordering of mobile small tank systems and generator sets is also in full swing. As part of the expansion, an operational support unit and a central warehouse are also planned to be set up, which will be operated self-sufficiently. This is intended to ensure optimal support during operations, according to the plans until 2027.
