The classic, which celebrated its premiere in Milan in 1746, belongs to the Commedia Dell’arte and thus brings a piece of Italian theater history to Neuberger.

The staging is a revised version of H.C. Artmann, which was specially adapted to the conditions in Neuberg. "The Neuberg theater group has a good hand to combine tradition with fresh elements," says director Joseph Hartmann, who staged the play together with Martin Novakovits. It is particularly exciting that Burgenland-Croatian and bilingual dialogues have been inserted to offer the audience a special connection to the region.
