Burgenland's summer: small stages, big emotions!
In Burgenland, great theater magic is offered in the summer of 2025! Three ensembles from Neuberg, Eberau and Parndorf bring a breath of fresh air to the small stages of the region. The theater summer opens with a colorful range of performances that promise both traditional and contemporary flair. The KURIER that the theater groups are creatively developing in their productions.
In Neuberg, the audience can look forward to a very special anniversary: The local theater group celebrates its 30th anniversary with Carlo Goldoni's famous comedy "The servant of two gentlemen". The premiere will take place on June 14th in front of the fire station, and the staging was specially adapted for the open -air venue. Director Joseph Hartmann brings a Burgenland-Croatian note into the pieces, while youthful members shine with energy in dance and vocals. Further performances are planned on June 15th, 19th and 21st, each at 6 p.m. or 8 p.m.
theater variety in Eberau
In Eberau, the “Theater Limitless” ensemble causes excitement with the staging of “The Tired Theodor”. This premiere will take place on June 13th in the picturesque Kutscherhof of the water lock. Well -known faces from the region are on stage to give the audience an entertaining evening. Certainly the combination of charm and regional talent will also arrive at the other dates on the 14th, 15th, 20th and 21st of June, and on June 12th at 6:30 p.m.
parndorf and the money of love
The highlight of the theater summer awaits theater fans in Parndorf. Here the director Christian Spatzek brings "love stories and marriage matters" by Johann Nestroy on stage. The premiere is scheduled for July 3, and a total of 15 performances by July 27 invite you to dive into the action. This posse with vocals in three acts is about the enjoyable combination of money and greed, while the protagonist Florian Fett tries to convert real love stories into marriage shops. The stage design is redesigned and Barbara Langbein is responsible for the costumes. In the event of rain, the performances take place in the ballroom of the Parndorf elementary school, which guarantees the availability of the performances. However, the open -air stage on Kirchenplatz 104 becomes the scene of the event when the weather is nice.
Governor Hans Peter Doskozil and Claudia Priber from cultural companies Burgenland underline the importance of such cultural experiences for regional life. The Burgenland Tourismus has also been involved this year to make the theater summer alive and inviting.
